Your responsibilities as Farm Shop Butcher

Prepare and present a range of meat products including beef, pork, lamb and poultry
Produce value-added products including sausages, burgers and kebabs
Serve customers and provide knowledgeable product guidance
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and compliance
Complete packaging, labelling and stock rotation activities
Support daily production requirements and attractive counter displays 
What we're looking for in a Farm Shop Butcher

Previous retail or commercial butchery experience
Strong knife skills across a variety of meat products
Experience producing value-added products such as sausages and burgers
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and stock control procedures
Experience working within a customer-facing environment 
Working Hours

42 hours per week
5 days from 7 on a rota basis
Typical shifts of 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00
Regular Saturday working required
Sunday working on a rota basis (2 in 4)
Additional paid hours available during seasonal peak periods
