Fast-Fit Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage in Northampton, for the position of Fast-Fit Vehicle Technician. This role offers a significant opportunity for experienced fast-fit technicians seeking to develop their skills within a reputable workshop environment.

Basic salary of £36,000 per annum
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:30pm
No weekend work
Overtime available

Fitting tyres across a variety of vehicle makes and models
Conducting wheel alignment using state-of-the-art equipment
Performing brake and suspension repairs
Assisting with general workshop duties as part of the team
Supporting continuous workshop operations
Developing mechanical skills through ongoing training coursesRequirements of the Fast-Fit Vehicle Technician:

Minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience in fast-fit or tyre fitting roles
Willingness to undertake tyre fitting and wheel alignment tasks
Strong desire to develop into a fully qualified vehicle technician
