FCAW Welder

FCAW FLUX CORE WELDERS REQUIRED – NORTH WEST

Our client, a large established company based in Birkenhead, is currently looking for Time-Served FCAW (Flux Core) Welders for long-term, ongoing work.

***Digs payment available for workers travelling from over 40 miles from site***

Trade Test Required

All candidates must successfully pass a trade test consisting of:

*

FCAW welding using flux core wire

*

Vertical and overhead butt welds

*

Welding using a ceramic backing strip

Requirements

*

Time-served Welder

*

Proven experience with FCAW / Flux Core welding

*

Experience with vertical and overhead welding

*

Shipyard experience preferred

*

Relevant experience and qualifications required

*

Must be able to successfully complete the required trade test

Pay Rates

*

Basic: £21.51 per hour

*

Overtime 1: £32.27 per hour (1.5x)

*

Overtime 2: £43.02 per hour (2x)
