Job Description - Female Support Worker

Female Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Service

Location: Glenholme Healthcare, The Marlowe's, Hemel, HP1 1GQ

Salary: £12.25 up to £12.45 per hour + Paid Training

Hours: Contracted hours available – 15, 22.5, 30, or 37.5 hours per week

Whether you have worked in care or come from retail, hospitality, customer service, cleaning, or admin – if you’re passionate about helping others, we will provide you with the training, tools, and support to succeed as a Support Worker.

  • Salary increase to £12.35 after completing our paid-for Care Certificate (industry-recognised qualification)

  • Salary increase to £12.45 on completion of a Level 2-3 NVQ qualification (industry-recognised qualification)

  • Up to £200 compensation for completing e-learning before you start

Key responsibilities include:



  • Companionship and emotional support




  • Personal care and assistance with daily routines




  • Supporting the development of independent living skills




  • Medication administration




  • Assisting with community-based activities such as swimming, social events, or leisure outings
