Circa £26-28k, Mon-Fri, Days Only, Free Onsite Parking, Supportive Management, Ongoing Training and Development to Upskill Further

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a Fibreglasser for a well-established, fast growing business that specialises in producing high-quality composite components for the commercial vehicle industry.

As a Fibreglasser, you'll join a friendly and supportive production in Melton Mowbray where quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and teamwork are highly valued. The Role
As a Fibreglasser, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality GRP and composite products from start to finish. Working to production schedules and quality standards, you'll play an important role in ensuring every component is completed to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities as our Fibreglasser will include:

Preparing moulds ready for production.
Applying release agents and gelcoat.
Carrying out hand lay-up and laminating using GRP materials.
Trimming, finishing and preparing completed components.
Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
Following technical instructions, production specifications and quality procedures.
About You
We're looking for a Fibreglasser with previous experience in GRP laminating, composite manufacturing or hand lay-up techniques. You'll take pride in producing quality work and enjoy working in a practical, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

Previous GRP laminating or composite manufacturing experience.
Strong practical skills and excellent attention to detail.
Experience working with a variety of composite materials.
Confidence using hand tools and workshop equipment.
The ability to read and follow drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Experience from industries such as automotive, commercial vehicles, marine, construction, mould making or general composite manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
