Field Application Specialist – Laboratory Automation & Scheduling Software
Territory:
UK wide with European travel when required
Ideal home location:
Located near an international airport and ideally living in the Cambridgeshire/Southeast England area but all locations in mainland England will be considered

The role of Field Application Specialist – Laboratory Automation & Scheduling Software:
Development and implementation of customized, optimal laboratory automation solutions for customer workflows in areas such as drug discovery, sample storage, genomics, chemical synthesis
Understand the customer’s needs for automation success to determine equipment and processes within the workflow
This will involve performing software installations, writing scripts in C++ and utilising other programming languages such as Python for configuration, integration and testing at customer sites across the UK & mainland Europe
Troubleshooting and resolution (may involve external service resources)
Collaborate with software developers and testers to integrate software into functional system
Be the conduit to transfer important information to other Applications & technical teams (Integrations & Software) to best support pre-sales opportunities
Where possible, contribute to marketing efforts to generate material that will promote our client’s disruptive laboratory robotics and scheduling software
