Field based boiler engineer

We are a worldwide HVAC organisation servicing UK & Europe. Due to expansion, we are seeking a field-based boiler engineer to work across the Andover & surrounding areas.
Working Monday to Friday with hours of 8am to 5pm, you will receive a generous salary up to 47k and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Providing our HVAC hire solutions across many locations within a large variation of industries, you will have proven previous experience working as a boiler and / or chiller engineer, within the HVAC sector as the key part of the role is installing & servicing equipment.

Reporting to the regional operations manager, working in a field based role, the key focus of the boiler engineer is too service, maintain, install and deinstall of all equipment, with the key responsibilities of the role are as follows –
• Installation and commissioning of temporary heating and cooling systems ensuring they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Servicing heating and cooling systems pre delivery to ensure their optimal performance and safety. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Communicate clearly with clients, strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including installation details, repairs, safety inspections, and customer interactions. Prepare reports as required.
• Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards to maintain the highest levels of safety.
• Keep all tools and equipment in proper working order, promptly reporting any maintenance or replacement needs. This ensures a safe and efficient work environment.
• Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies and best practices related to gas systems and appliances. Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
• Proactively identify and address potential safety issues or hazards through inspections and maintenance to prevent emergencies and costly repairs.
• Strive to complete tasks efficiently and cost-effectively, optimizing the value of services delivered to customers and the company.
• Perform all work with a high degree of professionalism and ethical behavior, building trust with customers and maintaining the company's reputation.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and, when necessary, work as part of a team to complete larger projects or address complex issues.

To be successful for the field-based boiler engineer opportunity you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, be happy working in a field based role and comfortable traveling around the Andover and surrounding areas.

• CDGA1
• ICPN1
• TPCP1/1A
• ICAE1
