Job Title: Field Engineer
Location: North of England (with UK-wide travel)
Salary: £32k- £38k

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and autonomous IT Field Engineer to install, maintain, and support IT, WiFi, and telecoms systems for both new and existing customers. This role requires flexibility for UK-wide travel and overnight stays, ensuring seamless service delivery. The successful candidate will be comfortable working remotely when not on-site and participating in out-of-hours (OOH) cover on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain IT and WiFi infrastructure, ensuring efficient system performance.
• Assist in pre-configuration and design of IT, network, and WiFi solutions.
• Conduct wireless surveys and system upgrades using provided tools and software.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting issues remotely and on-site.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for customer projects and installations.

Person Specification

• Strong technical background in Windows Server systems, WiFi technologies, and PBX systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
• Strong customer service abilities, ensuring a professional client experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
