Field Engineering Manager

Technimove is looking for a Field Engineering Manager to be the most senior engineering resource, responsible for managing a large field engineering team.

The role will involve working closely with other technical teams, especially professional services and projects and programs, and to act as a mentor in their core skills area, being a focal point for the team completing peer reviews regularly and ensuring very high standards across the team.  

The Field Engineering Manager will also support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams to provide expertise required to close sales opportunities. This will typically involve technical presentations, proposals, bid response documentation, Statement of Work creation, migration plan and other documentation.

Required Certifications:

• Two or more CCNA (Enterprise, Data Center, Security, Wireless, or Collaboration preferred) or equivalent Vendor qualifications in Compute, Storage or Virtualisation technologies. 

• Fortinet NSE1-4 or greater. 

• Six Sigma Green Belt. 

Required Experience:

• Prior experience of managing engineering projects, attaining appropriate vendor certifications, technical training in core and associated skills (multi-skilled), vendor relationships, industry awareness and attendance / participation in trade / vendor events. 

• Is able to continually demonstrate exceptional skills in team and budget management, organisation, reporting of business metrics, governance, delivery of excellence and all types of communication.
