Field Manager

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Southern Water! We are recruiting Field Managers to oversee our employees in our Southampton depot.  This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new career with us here at Lanes Group! 

Each depot consists mainly of Drainage Engineers who travel to work sites, so you will ensure everyone on the team is performing their responsibilities in the field. Your responsibilities will also include carrying out site inspections, coordinating the Engineers from your depot, managing any fleet issues as well as evaluating employee performance. 

About you 

We are interested in hearing from people who have the following knowledge/experience: 

• This role is about managing people, so previous managerial experience is essential. We aspire to get the best out of all our employees & you will be key to this! 

• Drive a safety culture and create the best possible working environment for all employees under your supervision 

• Working in an engineering field – specific drainage would be desirable 

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills 

• Full UK driving license is essential due to traveling to sites
