Job Description - Field Sales Account Manager

Are you a passionate, determined FieldSales Account Manager who delivers results and builds strong client relationships with ease? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in sales and business development who wants to grow existing accounts and win new business within the North and Midlands region.

Field Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term partnerships
  • Take ownership of your customer base, delivering an excellent service that meets and exceeds customer expectations
  • Identify new clients, building a robust sales pipeline through networking and industry research
  • Present tailored solutions to prospective clients, showing your understanding of their needs and pain points
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team to implement competitive yet lucrative pricing solutions
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to stay on top of trends and spot new opportunities
  • Visit existing and prospective clients to strengthen relationships and build a positive image of the brand
  • Work with the wider team, including logistics, customer service, and marketing to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Prepare sales forecasts and sales plans, and ensure all customer data is maintained on the CRM
  • Be the point of contact for your clients, keeping in regular contact and resolving issues should they arise

Field Sales Account Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience gained in a sales role, this could be as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Field Sales Manager or Sales Account Manager
  • Happy to be on the road in a field-based role, and able to attend monthly meetings at the Tamworth HQ
  • Confident working in a target-driven environment and has a track record of meeting and exceeding targets and delivering results
  • Customer-focused and solutions-driven, always looking for ways to exceed expectations
  • Outstanding communication skills, with a knack for developing lasting client relationships that turn into long-term partnerships
  • Has an interest in the trade and retail industry and is keen to gain in-depth knowledge of the products
  • Results-oriented and a self-starter, able to work on their own initiative to get deals past the line, and has the motivation to keep pushing forward
