Field Service and Installations Technician

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an end to end security systems manufacturing company to recruit a Field Service and Installations Technician for their aftermarket division.

Salary: £36k pa + Company van + Fuel Card

Locations: Luton, Oxford, Reading, Bedford, London, Greater London, Surrey, Kent

Hours: 40 hours on a flexible door to door basis (Days and Lates)

Duties of the Field Service and Installations Technician will include:

• Deal with daily fault requests, PPM duties and installation activities for a broad client base in the passenger carrying vehicle industry
• Support in service activities including installation and fault rectification
• Responsible for own stock control and spare parts
• Ensure clear and continuous communication between the field and the regional management

We would be keen to speak with Field Service and Installations Technician with the following:

• Electrical or electronics qualification – NVQ, BTEC or Apprentice trained would be desirable, but also very open to time served experience
• Knowledge of the bus/vehicle industry, CCTV or electrical/electronic installation, service and repair
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving license

This Field Service and Installations Technician role is ideal for someone who is technically driven from a vehicle technology (electrics/electronics) background. Due to the nature of the Field Service and Installations Technician role, some overnight stays away from home may be required.
