Field Service Controller – Heavy Plant
A global manufacturer specialising in Heavy Plant are looking for a Field Service Controller to support the running of the regional activity for the business.

Role: Field Service Controller
Area: Portsmouth
Salary: £45,000 per year + benefits

The requirements of the Field Service Controller will be:

As Field Service Controller, you will be required to plan, allocate, and coordinate service jobs for field engineers based on priority, location, and availability.
Support field engineers with job information, technical documentation, and any logistical requirements.
Act as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries, providing updates and managing customer expectations.
Open, track, and close service jobs in the system, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Liaise with parts departments to ensure availability and delivery of required components to engineers or job sites.

The ideal candidate for Field Service Controller will be:

Proven experience in a similar role within the heavy plant, construction equipment, or machinery sectors.
Excellent planning and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
