Field Service Electrician

Our client is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of innovative product solutions, delivering high-quality products and services to customers across a diverse range of sectors.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Field Service Electrician to undertake electrical installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding work across a variety of projects nationwide.

The Field Service Electrician must live locally to the Sutton-in-Ashfield site to collect company materials and vehicle. The package on offer for the Electrician is:

* Salary of £36,876

* Contributory pension scheme 5% and 3% (NEST)

* 20 + 8 days bank holiday with an increase by 1 day each year of service up to 25 days.

* Christmas shut down

* Van provided for business use

This is a nationwide role requiring travel to different project locations, including overnight stays where necessary.

The company provides accommodation arrangements through company cards and pays a food allowance when working away.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Electrician:

* Carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding.

* Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and associated inspection and test documentation.

* Take responsibility for relevant technical standards and compliance as the company's NICEIC Qualified Supervisor

The ideal Field Service Electrician will have:

* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.

* Valid ECS Gold Card.

* Relevant experience in electrical installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding.

* Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and relevant electrical safety standards.

* Experience completing EICs, EICRs and associated inspection and testing reports.

* The technical competence and experience required to undertake the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor role.

* Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.

This position would suit a technically strong, organised Field Service Electrician who takes pride in the quality of their work and can confidently manage electrical compliance and certification responsibilities.

This opportunity is commutable from Mansfield, Alfreton, Clay Cross and Sutton in Ashfield.
