Field Service Engineer

Location: Rotherham

Position: Field Service Engineer

Pay rate: £32000 - £35000/annum

HRGO is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a manufacturer of industrial machinery utilised in facilities ranging from utilities to food manufacturing. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for both service and planned maintenance on customer sites across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planned maintenance and service work on both machinery manufactured in-house but also from other manufacturers as required on client sites
• Generation of accurate site reports
• Mechanical works such as changing oil filters or belts, both installation or removal of machinery as required
• Electrical work such as checking/replacing sensors, installation of motors including cabling

Qualifications and Skills:

• Engineering qualifications (ideally to HND/NVQ 3 level) or a proven track record in a related sector
• Strong Mechanical skills i.e. Materials Handling, Pneumatic systems etc.
• Some Electrical skills would be desirable
• Full Driving Licence
