Field Service Engineer – Precision Measurement Equipment

This independent, field-based role supports a national service team and is coordinated from a central service centre. The position involves the installation, servicing, repair, and calibration of precision measuring equipment at customer sites.

Location:

Primarily covering the Midlands region, with occasional travel to other areas and potential overnight stays.

• Install precision measuring equipment at customer locations
• Perform service and calibration tasks
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient IT skills
• Full, valid driving licence

• Experience in fault-finding on mechanical/electrical systems
• Effective time management
• Strong interpersonal skills
