Field Service Engineer – Warwickshire (Field-Based)

I'm currently recruiting for a respected engineering client based in Warwickshire who is looking to expand their service team with the addition of a Field Service Engineer. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and is comfortable travelling to customer sites.

The Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment at customer sites. Most work will be within a 30-mile radius of the base location, but occasional travel across the UK will be required. A company vehicle and company card are provided to support travel and expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out service, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment at customer sites
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
• Providing technical support and advice to customers
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel and work independently
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Recognised engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC)
• Experience with motors, pumps, or rotating equipment
