My client is a global leading manufacturer of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of manufacturing industries. They have sites worldwide with over 90 years of market experience. With a growing presence globally, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within a variety of machine tool systems solutions to the manufacturing engineering industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional service engineer.

The Role

The successful candidate will ideally be an apprentice trained engineer, with multi-skilling, who can install, commission and service a variety of manufacturing machine tool systems within a variety of Industries. PLC fault diagnostic knowledge is the key to the success of this role. This will be a service based role covering the clients mainly across the Midlands & Yorkshire, with some installations and commissioning, mainly utilising PLC systems, hydraulics, injection moulding machinery. The candidate will be from a similar machinery background within an automated manufacturing process, ideally with plastics knowledge, but will need to be aware that there needs to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent travelling, as this is a regional field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to greater earnings.
