Field Service Engineer

Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Field Services Engineer to work with a Lead Engineer as their assistant / fitters mate. You must hold a CSCS card or equivalent and have a clean driving licence. Head office location is in High Wycombe. The position will be responsible for assisting the lead Field Services Engineer to ensure that site services are delivered efficiently on time and to the required quality.

Monday - Friday
40 hours a week (will be flexible starting times depending on location of job)
Possible staying away of an evening if the project location is further than 2 hours drive from their head office.
Possible work out of hours (between 2pm and 9pm) - on these occasions they pay a flat 8-hour rate for any work carried out up to 5 hours and then x1.5 for any additional hours.

GBP30k per annum

The duties of the Field Service Engineer are:
· Working as part of a two-man team with an experienced lead Field Services Engineer based in the South near High Wycombe.
· Product installation, Maintenance, Aftersales, Installation Assistance and Health & Safety.
- Assisting in erecting scaffolding and access equipment.
- Use of small and handheld power tools as required.
- Ability to work unsupervised, following training, in the course of duties.
- Keeping the work are tidy and safe at all times.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards at all times.

The requirements of the Field Service Engineer are:
· Must have a clean UK driving licence.
· Must have a CSCS card or skilled workers card.
Must have proven experience in the construction industry.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Good communication skills and able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.

There will be in-house Health and Safety training which must be completed.
