Field Service Engineer

My client is part of a larger company that are known within the industry for their work with pipeline equipment for steam, water and oil systems. They manufacture various equipment including valves, steam traps, actuators and heat exchange packages. Due to extensive growth, they are now Looking for Field Service Engineer to join their engineering team covering North of the M62 corridor and into the Midlands. As a Service Engineer you will be servicing and repairing steam systems and related equipment on clients’ sites.

Field Service Engineer

£34,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, bonus opportunities, vehicle, phone, laptop and pension scheme

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites within the assigned territory.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, fault-find, and carry out repairs.
• Service and repair packaged systems, valves, plant rooms, steam distribution systems, and control loops.
• Compile detailed service/repair worksheets via the company service app.
• Liaise effectively with customers and engineering departments.
• Provide solutions and build strong relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Valve Engineer, or similar.
• Experience servicing valves and process equipment preferred.
• Flexibility to respond to ad-hoc callouts.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full product and technical training will be provided.
