Field Service Engineer

A trusted technical specialist and service provider in the plastics industry, that represents a select group of innovative OEMs are now seeking a Service Engineer to join their expanding team. They support high-performance injection moulding machinery, robotics, and automation systems across a many sectors with a strong focus on quality and technical excellence.

You will support customers throughout the UK and occasionally Ireland, with all aspects of injection moulding machine service, repair and processing support.

As a Service Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to-

• Equipment installation, start-up, commissioning and training
• Maintenance of equipment at customers premises
• Service administration tasks
• Regular travel during the working week, covering throughout the UK and occasionally Ireland

To be successful in the role of Service Engineer, the ideal Candidate-

• Has a working knowledge and understanding of plastic injection moulding machines and automation
• Has a good working knowledge of Mechanics, Hydraulics and Electrics (electrical qualification would be beneficial, but not necessary)
• Will show resourcefulness, good organisational and time management skills
• Should be methodical, with good attention to detail

On offer-

• A basic salary of £40 - 50K, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday with occasional planned weekend work (rare)
• Maximum 10-hour day, including travel time
• Annual Christmas bonus
• Annual Profit Share bonus paid in March
