We are recruiting for a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of abrasive shot blasting equipment, medias, and associated machinery, seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role offering variety, travel, and rewarding earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair shot blasting and surface preparation equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding (mechanical and basic electrical) during emergency breakdowns.
• Perform on-site equipment inspections and provide detailed reports.
• Recommend productivity or efficiency improvements based on equipment condition.
• Travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with occasional overnight stays and weekend work.
• As a Field Service Engineer, you'll represent our brand in the field and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service and support.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong mechanical engineering background.
• Basic electrical understanding.
• Welding, fitting, and basic fabrication experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• As a Field Service Engineer, a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and overnight stays is required.
