Salary: Basic £35,000 - £39,000 + Company Vehicle, Benefits, Overtime Earnings £42,000 - £47,000.

Location:Southampton, Hampshire

A large industrial service provider are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to work at client sites around the Southampton Area. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for competing maintenance, repair and breakdown duties on equipment such as Gearboxes, Pumps, Motors, Fan Unit’s and other rotating pieces of equipment. Skills required for an Field Service Engineer

• The candidate will have either NVQ or City & Guilds qualification within a Engineering discipline.
• Have a sound mechanical engineering background with some electrical knowledge.
• Ideally worked on equipment such as air compressors, pumps, motors, rotating equipment and gear boxes in your current or previous positions.
• Come from either Workshop, Field Service, Marine or a Forces background.
• Work both on a individual and team basis.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers at their premises.
• Have some flexibility and be prepared to work on a on-call rota.
