Field Service Engineer London Based

Are you a problem-solver with a knack for fixing things and a passion for delivering top-quality service? Due to continued growth, were on the hunt for a Field Service Engineer to join my client's expanding team in London. We have positions within the M25 area across North / Southeast / East London. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on, customer-facing role with plenty of variety and long-term career potential.

Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of the company keeping the customers in the high street food retail sector up and running. Your day-to-day will include:

• Planning and attending site visits in line with customer service agreements
• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical & mechanical equipment
• Following up on repairs where additional parts are needed
• Carrying out scheduled Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
• Ensuring all work meets safety standards and company policies
• Keeping your van stocked, clean, and organised
• Ordering parts and updating jobs via our internal system
• Taking part in a 1-in-4 Saturday rota

Requirements:

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Proven Field Service Engineer experience
• A full UK driving licence
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Clear communication and customer service skills
• Good IT knowledge and ability to use job management software
• A cool head under pressure

Nice-to-Haves (Not Essential)

• Experience with battery and mains-operated floor cleaning equipment
• Previous PAT testing experience
