This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to customer sites, and providing hands-on technical support. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, validation, and repair of industrial metal detectors, ensuring customers receive a high standard of service and support. Key Responsibilities Commission and install CEIA metal detectors at customer sites UK wide, with some travel to Ireland. Deliver on-site customer training on metal detction equipment operation and best practices Carry out performance validation on all makes of industrial metal detectors Perform calibration of checkweighers Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on industrial metal detection equipment Complete service reports and documentation accurately Provide excellent customer service and technical support Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a similar Field Service Engineer role (preferred) Experience working with industrial inspection equipment , metal detectors, or checkweighers would be advantageous Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Ability to work independently and manage travel effectively A full UK driving licence Willingness to travel regularly, with over night stays when required.
