Hiregiant have an exciting opportunity in Avonmouth, Bristol for a Field Service Engineer to Join a great team of friendly staff with opportunities to progress. You will be working for a global supplier based in Avonmouth, but covering the Southwest region (M4 corridor Swindon, Gloucester, Cardiff and Devon. We are looking for someone who has an engineering background, with a technical knowledge ideally working on Crushers and Screeners. Hours and Pay £18.00 to £20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Working Monday to Friday with optional overtime paid at time and a half. Working 40 hours per week between usually starting at 8am. As a Field Service Engineer your role will involve: · Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery · Warranty repairs. · Damage repairs. · Site visits across various areas of the country. · Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad. · Manage all above to ensure 100% recovery. · Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects. · Good communication with customers and other staff. Requirements · Strong background in Plant industry essential. · NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent. · CSCS card holder is preferred. · Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics. · Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment. · Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness. · Preferred dealer experience but not essential. · Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.
