Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer | Kirkcaldy | £16 p/h

Avenue are currently recruiting for a field service engineer on behalf of one of our clients based in Kirkcaldy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair breakdowns

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on forklifts and plant equipment

- Diagnose mechanical, diesal and gas related faults

- Carry out basic electrical fault finding where required

- Work independently and react efficiently to breakdowns and changing priorities

- Travel to sites across Scotland, with OT/time in leiu available for longer-distance jobs

Person Specificatfion:

- Background in mechanical, plant hire, forklift, agricultural or similar engineering background

- A full UK drivers license

- A flexible and reactive approach to work

- Good communication skills

- HGV License desirable

Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile and PPE provided.
