Our client has been established for over 60 years providing premium quality products designed and manufacturing, to maximise productivity, increase efficiency, and ensure operator safety with their products known for their durability and dependability.
Due to constant business demands this is an expansion to an establish technically sound and supportive team of Service Engineers. The company boasts fantastic longevity within their organisation and has proven track record of career progression opportunities.
Duties:
As a brand ambassador of the company, attend pre-planned and breakdown visits at clients site. Diagnose, fault find and complete maintenance work required (of both a mechanical and electrical nature). Installation of machinery. Work as a key component within the Service Engineering team and supporting other engineers when required. Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients. Answer client inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly. Conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly after installation or repair. Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of service. Completing all relevant paperwork including timesheets. Ensure all H&S regulations are always adhered to.The Requirements:
Relevant mechanical and electrical qualifications. Sound engineering knowledge of capital machinery Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload. Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills. Full UK Driving LicenseWe would expect the successful Field Service Engineer to be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain and service high quality products by utilising their skills and experience, be an excellent communicator and ambassador of the company. You will be supported one to one to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within in a similar role. Having a 17th or 18th Edition qualification would be highly advantageous.
