In a nutshell…

Our client is one of the UK's leading machine suppliers based in the High Wycombe area, supporting a network of over 5,000 installed machines across the UK and Ireland. Their product range has a strong focus on innovation, performance and customer service

Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in covering the Midlands area carrying out Installations servicing, maintenance and repair work on our client's large portfolio of CNC Machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in the machine tooling industry.

What's involved for the CNC Field Service Engineer…

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of 3- and 5-axis machining centres
• Installation, maintenance, and repair of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis lathes
• Fitting and configuration of machine tool options such as Renishaw probing systems, rotary tables, and through-spindle coolant systems
• Provide technical support for automation systems
• Work independently or collaboratively with other engineers as required
• Maintain professional communication and working relationships with customers
• Submit detailed service reports and upload daily work records to the central database
• Maintain service vehicle stock and company-provided tools
• Travel regularly throughout the UK and Southern Ireland may be required

What you'll need…

• Prior experience in the machine tool industry preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required (minimal)
• Able to work independently and represent the company professionally on customer sites
• Full clean UK driving licence

This is a Full time, permanent CNC Field Service Engineer role, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
