You will work closely with customers to ensure machinery is operating efficiently while delivering excellent technical support and customer service. Key Responsibilities Installation and commissioning of CNC woodworking machinery Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and control systems Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support Diagnosing PLC and automation faults Providing operator training and technical guidance to customers Completing service reports and documentation Supporting continuous improvement and machine optimisation Requirements Previous experience working on CNC machinery, ideally woodworking or cutting equipment Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings Experience with PLC fault finding advantageous Comfortable working independently in a field-based role Full UK driving licence Strong communication and customer-facing skills Benefits Paid overtime Company vehicle Laptop and mobile phone Pension scheme Ongoing manufacturer training and development Opportunities for progression within a growing business This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to join a well-established company within the CNC and woodworking machinery sector.
