Are you a Conveyor Belt Technician or mechanically skilled professional looking for a hands-on, mobile role with exceptional holiday entitlement and the potential to significantly boost your earnings through overtime?

A well-established, UK-wide engineering business is seeking a Mobile Conveyor Belt Technician to join its national reactive team. Based out of Welwyn Garden City, you'll work across the Southern region supporting clients in high-demand sectors like postal logistics and food production.

In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor belts at customer sites across the South of the UK, working on both scheduled jobs and emergency call-outs. You'll prepare belts in advance, carry out on-site fittings and troubleshoot issues. The role involves travel, hands-on mechanical work and use of a mobile app for job reporting, and following all health and safety procedures, with the opportunity to earn extra through overtime and be part of a supportive, nationwide team.

The Role:

• Carry out conveyor belt replacements and fittings at customer sites (reactive and planned)
• Manufacture, prepare, and record stock for supply or installation
• Identify and survey conveyor belt types, sizes, and materials during site visits
• Complete all Job Logic reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Work in accordance with Capital Belting's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Participate in the on-call rota, including evenings and weekends

The Person:

• Conveyor Belt technician or similar
• Flexible and willing to work unsociable hours (including call-outs)
• Full UK driving licence
