Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)

Fortis Recruitment are working with a great engineering client to recruit a UK-wide field engineer to support customers in all areas of the country with servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of industrial robotic systems.

The successful service engineer will be working with various robotic equipment across a variety of industries. You will mainly be working with ABB, Kuka and FANUC equipment.

The role

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on industrial robotic systems and associated automation equipment.

* Diagnose and resolve robot breakdowns, electrical faults, mechanical issues, and programmingrelated problems.

* Service and maintain ABB, FANUC, and KUKA robotic systems

* Troubleshoot robot controllers, servo systems, safety circuits, fieldbus networks, and endof arm tooling

Experience Required

* Proven experience working with industrial robots in a service, maintenance, or automation engineering role

* Strong working knowledge of

* ABB robots and controllers

* FANUC robots and controllers

* KUKA robots and controllers

* Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and softwarerelated faults.

* Good understanding of industrial automation systems and manufacturing environments

* Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays

Any experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Mitsubishi) would be an advantage.
