About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing industrial equipment business, providing nationwide service and technical support for industrial ovens.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in industrial ovens, industrial heating equipment or associated process machinery, looking for a varied role with excellent earning potential through overtime.

Experience with industrial ovens is extremely desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs on industrial ovens.
Attend customer sites nationwide to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Complete planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Commission and test equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
Carry out fault-finding across electrical, mechanical and control systems.
Provide technical support and advice to customers.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work undertaken.
Travel nationwide, including overnight stays where required.
Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to resolve customer issues.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or similar technical engineering role.
Experience working with industrial ovens is extremely desirable.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience working with industrial heating equipment, furnaces or associated process machinery would be advantageous.
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable with nationwide travel and overnight stays.
Full UK driving licence.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000.
