Location: Regional Field-Based Role Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 + £2,000 Travel Bonus OTE: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Company
Interaction Technical is working in partnership with a well-established specialist engineering business that provides installation, maintenance, and repair services for mechanical equipment across a range of industrial sectors.
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join their expanding service team.

The Role
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of specialist mechanical equipment at customer sites.
Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team, you will carry out planned maintenance, fault-finding, breakdown repairs, and commissioning activities, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment • Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on customer sites • Conduct equipment inspections and service visits • Complete service reports and maintenance documentation • Ensure work is completed in line with health and safety procedures • Provide excellent customer service and technical support • Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in a mechanical engineering, maintenance, service, or manufacturing environment • Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Experience working on industrial machinery, plant equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar mechanical systems • A proactive and customer-focused approach • Ability to work independently whilst managing site-based activities • Full UK Driving Licence
