As a Field Service Manager, you will:
* Lead, develop, and performance‑manage Field Service and Residential Engineering teams, ensuring capability, engagement, and service cover
* Regularly visit customer sites to build strong relationships, identify opportunities for service improvements, drive upsell activity, and generate new business opportunities
* Ensure safe, compliant service delivery aligned to customer, contractual, and health & safety requirements
* Own operational and financial performance, including engineer utilisation, cost control, and SLA delivery
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships through performance reviews, service updates, and improvement plans
What we are looking for from you:
* Experience managing field‑based or site engineering teams in a service environment
* Strong knowledge of cranes, conveyors, automated material handling equipment, and warehouse automation systems
* Strong people leadership skills across geographically dispersed teams
* Confident communication with engineers, customers, and senior stakeholders
* Commercial awareness, including budgets, margins, and cost control
* A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, C&G, ONC, HNC or similar)
