Location: Bristol area (approx. 50mile radius)
Permanent role offering: UP TO £30,000 (Overtime + other ways to increase salary are available)

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our client, a leader in intelligent Parking Solutions who maintains and installs Parking Solutions throughout the UK!

They’re looking for a Field Service Technician based in the Bristol area with easy access to M5. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing installation, repair and maintenance services on car park systems in Bristol and surrounding area. 

You must have previous experience in a Field based role. The role requires a combination of Networking/ PC Maintenance knowledge (updating device Operating Systems + Hardware & Software updates), and a basic understanding of Electrical works.

The successful Field Service Technician will be working on a 9am to 5pm basis and required to join a weekend standby rota on a 3 week basis, paid for being on standby without potentially attending any jobs!

Field Service Technician Experience & Skills Required:

• To install, maintain, and commission all aspects of the company’s product portfolio.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with all Heath, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Ensure all equipment on site is kept in a safe, tidy condition and that all cables are tied and clearly labelled.
• Represent the business in a professional manner and provide the customer with the best possible service, building customer rapport and promote good customer relations.
• Assist in delivering training to customers.
• Fault find and provide a first time fix wherever possible.
• Ensure vehicle, tools, spares and equipment to be used is in a safe and useable condition. Keep car spares stocks at correct levels.

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK driving license is an ESSENTIAL!
• Right to work in the UK (my client is unable to provide sponsorship for this role)
• Happy to join a weekend standby rota once every few weeks (you could be paid without having to work)!
• A recognised qualification in electrics would be a benefit. Basic electrical knowledge is essential!
• Strong verbal and written English skills
