Altera Recruitment Group is partnering with an innovative clean technology business that is transforming industrial cleaning through environmentally responsible solutions. Their specialist equipment is trusted by leading automotive manufacturers and industrial organisations across the UK, helping customers improve safety, reduce emissions and replace traditional hazardous chemicals.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Field Service Technician to support customers across the Midlands and surrounding regions. This role is ideal for someone with practical mechanical or electrical experience who enjoys working independently, travelling to customer sites and taking pride in delivering a high standard of service.
This is not a highly technical engineering role. Instead, it is suited to someone with strong hands-on ability, excellent attention to detail and the right attitude to learn. Full product training will be provided, with opportunities to develop your technical knowledge as you become more experienced.
Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician
* Carry out routine servicing, cleaning and inspection of specialist cleaning equipment at customer sites.
* Diagnose and complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs, including replacing hoses, pumps, switches and associated components.
* Complete service documentation accurately while ensuring all work complies with customer site procedures and safety requirements.
* Build positive relationships with customers by delivering a professional and reliable service.
* Travel across the Midlands, Wales and surrounding areas supporting planned maintenance and reactive service visits.
Candidate Requirements
* Practical mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience gained within industrial, manufacturing, automotive or similar environments.
* Comfortable travelling regularly and working independently across customer sites.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and site rules.
* Positive attitude, excellent work ethic and willingness to learn through hands on training.
* Full UK driving licence.

* £30,000 to £35,000 salary depending on experience.
