  • Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Cambridge Business Support are working with a great company based in Sawston who are seeking a proactive and adaptable Fieldwork & Administration Executive to join their team. This role involves working closely with both the Field and Continuous teams to ensure the smooth execution of research projects. You will manage the logistics related to the storage, packing, and dispatch of products, and maintain communication with clients and team members.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Responsible for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all products associated with fieldwork tests.
  • Manage the packing area, ensuring all fridges and freezers are in good working order and monitored regularly.
  • Act as the first point of contact with designated couriers, monitoring the progress of all deliveries and collections.
  • Plan the receipt and storage of products from suppliers, ensuring appropriate space and time for any necessary re-labelling or pack splitting.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards when handling food products, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Cover for the Field Exec – Paperwork role in cases of illness or holidays.
  • Support the Retail / Continuous Team with the full administration of testing programmes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Assist Research Execs with any project-related tasks as required by the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Confidence in making decisions independently when appropriate.
  • Precision and a methodical approach to all tasks with great attention to detail.
  • Self-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks according to business needs.
  • Adaptability to cope with changing priorities while keeping others informed of potential issues.
  • Organised and diligent, capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly, professionally, and concisely.
  • Ability to maintain open and honest relationships with colleagues, building trust and confidence.
  • Innovative and creative thinking, with a willingness to challenge norms and improve processes.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude.
