The Barrettine Group is looking for a motivated and driven Machine Setter, to work hands on with a diverse range of labelling and filling equipment daily.

This is a chance to progress within a family owned business who have been trading for nearly 150 years, with in-house training provided across a variety of chemical processes and specific machinery.

The Barrettine Group is looking for a Machine Setter to be responsible for preparing filling stations ahead of the operator’s day; ensuring the correct set-up weights, labels and containers have been selected before production begins. You will work alongside the Head Engineer and Production Managers in relation to each job, with other responsibilities including but not limited to: moving finished stock, assisting to keep areas tidy and organized, and ensuring workstations are maintained with materials needed throughout the day.

• Past experience within a manufacturing environment essential
• Understanding of PPE requirements
• Excellent team player
• Good communicator
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Forklift license desired but not essential, training to be provided if necessary

This role would suit someone with Machine Setting experience within a bottle filling environment, looking to progress within a company while working across a diverse range of products and services.
