Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly timesheets for operatives and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Collate timesheet information for management approval, follow up on approvals, and communicate discrepancies to relevant personnel.
  • Attend weekly programme meetings to discuss payroll-related matters.
  • Coordinate with HR for new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
  • Update the HR platform with absences and holidays if missed.
  • Processing invoices, reconciling statements, making card payments
  • Provide general administrative support as required.

  • Previous experience in a similar payroll administration role is desired

  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring payroll and the purchase ledger is processed without errors.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with employees, HR, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • This role is heavily data entry focused,
  • Due to the location you will need to have access to your own transport as you can not get there via public transport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. If you have the required experience and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you!
