Finance Administrator

Rutherford Briant are exclusively recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a growing logistics business based in Witham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

As a Finance Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting both finance and customer service functions, including:

• Handling incoming finance queries from customers and suppliers

• Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and on time

• Assisting with credit control by chasing outstanding payments in a professional and friendly manner

• Resolving invoice issues and liaising with courier and logistics partners

• Providing general admin support to the finance and operations teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a finance or admin role, ideally with exposure to AP/AR and some credit control

• Strong communication skills and a confident, customer-focused approach

• Great attention to detail and the ability to stay organised

• A team player mentality with a proactive, problem-solving attitude

• A salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

• A varied role with exposure to finance, operations, and customer support
