Job Description - Finance Administrator

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

This is an exciting temporary opportunity to join a nationally recognised coffeehouse as a Finance Administrator on a permanent basis!

The Finance Administrator will support the accounting functions of the company. This role involves diverse responsibilities in transactional accounting, invoice processing and supplier and bank reconciliation.

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE:

Processing high volumes of invoices (200–250 daily), ensuring accuracy and timely input for supplier payments
Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining organised, up-to-date financial records
Monitoring a centralised inbox, responding to supplier queries and supporting positive supplier relationships
Assisting with bank account reconciliations across multiple accounts
Supporting transactional accounting tasks in Oracle, including payment reconciliation and maintenance of the Accounts Payable (AP) ledger
Helping to cleanse and maintain accurate AP records for smooth financial operations
Working closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director to track outstanding invoices and assist with supplier communications on payment status

FINANCE COORDINATOR ESSENTIALS:

Experience with Oracle, Lightyear or similar
Degree educated in the relevant area
Minimum 12 months of experience in finance finance-related role
A desire to learn and grow within the role
Comfortable working in the office 5 days a week
