Job Description - Finance Administrator - Excellent Company Benefits!

Finance Administrator

Grays, Essex

£25000 - £28000

Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.00pm

25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, pension scheme and parking on site

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance? Our client, a reputable organisation based in Grays, is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their dynamic team. If you are eager to contribute your skills and grow in a supportive environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain credit exposure for live accounts, ensuring accurate records and timely actions.
  • Open new credit accounts, following established procedures and performing necessary verifications.
  • Post the daily banking transactions with precision and in adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Handle customer queries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and resolutions.
  • Raise credit notes when necessary.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly invoice runs, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with various depots, directors, and customers to address financial matters effectively.
  • Allocate payments accurately, ensuring records are updated promptly.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and numerical proficiency.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
