This global operation has a need for an experienced Finance Analyst to join their European HQ at Seal Sands, Teesside.The role of Finance Analyst comes with the opportunity to progress longer term to Management Accountant and study support is available.

Your new role
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to various business leaders within the organisation, helping to drive business performance, control costs and enable informed decision-making.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting -

• Analyse financial data, providing insights and recommendations to business leaders.
• Provide financial support and insights for the Operations and PMO organisation to assist with decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of regular reports, forecasts and variance analysis to track performance against budgets and targets.

Accounts Payable -

• Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable processing, ensuring the timely and accurate payment of suppliers

Business Partnering & Support-

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide proactive support and guidance, particularly with respect to cost control.
• Participate in the business planning and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
• Systems / process review and implementation

What you'll need to succeed You will offer hands-on finance experience and ideally be AAT qualified or be working towards CIMA / ACCA/ ACA.
