Finance Analyst

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a thriving luxury business in the West End of London (Paddington). The role will focus on providing commercial analysis, finance business partnering and month/year-end control and management.

Client Details

The client are a global luxury retail brand that are based in the West End of London. They manufacture and distribute a very specific retail product globally and work with some of the largest fashion brands in the world! They are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team and report directly into the FPandA Manager. The role will have a wealth of growth and progression prospects and the successful candidate will have a wide exposure to a number of different responsibilities and areas of the business. They will mainly be business partnering with the marketing team.

Description

The successful Finance Analyst will:

• Act as a Finance Business Partner with the wider business (mainly the marketing department)
• Provide analysis and insight on the Marketing and logistic budgets and forecasts before they are approved
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Monthly variance analysis - with commentary
• Month-end management accounts production
• Commercial finance analysis and providing commentary to assist with company strategy
• Month end / Year end: review and control of the actual vs budget + accruals
• Work in close relation with the accounting team to make sure costs are accurately reported
• Lead ROI analysis on key marketing activities

Profile

A successful candidate will have:

• Approximately 3 years experience in a similar role as a Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Analyst etc. - MUST be from a retail or FMCG company
• Studying towards the ACCA or CIMA
• Prior business partnering experience
• MUST have advanced Excel skills
• Prior working knowledge of Business Central (desirable, not essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• £50,000 - £60,000
