Finance Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Finance Analyst to support accounting and finance operations within the retail industry. The role is based near Chippenham and offers a hybrid working environment.

Description

• Produce and review daily Commercial and Operational Dashboards
• Provide Analysis and Commentary on variances/movements
• Prepare Monthly Sales Incentive Scheme results, including target setting
• Liaise with Commercial teams to ensure targets are appropriate and results are accurate
• Prepare Month end accruals, working closely with the Financial Control team
• Assist in the preparation of Annual Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts
• Prepare Month end P&Ls to be issued to the business, including analysis and commentary where required to support teams in Monthly P&L reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies & procedures
• Proactively identify system and process improvements and opportunities to add value to the business and work to implement changes as necessary
• Support the manager with various projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• Proven experience in similar Analyst position
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to Non-Financial colleagues
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Self-motivating, proactive, deadline-driven and can work under pressure
