Finance Analyst

Main Duties:

As a Finance Analyst, your main duties will include:

• Business Partnering with external clients and internal stakeholders like asset managers and property managers.
• Handling month and quarter-end reporting requirements to the client on your portfolio allocation in a KPI-driven environment.
• Acting as the key finance representative to all stakeholders, providing financial insight for budget management, cash level sufficiency, and ensuring ledgers are free from legacy issues.
• Onboarding new assets into business as usual with minimal risk to the client and the firm.
• Managing all asset disposals under your allocation, ensuring sufficient handover to new owners.
• Contributing to overall client relationship management, developing relationships, and gaining insights into client priorities to adapt and enhance services.
• Taking responsibility for specific ledger balances and associated financial transactions.
• Reporting financial data directly to the client with commentary and supporting documentation.

Location / Office / Culture

This role is hybrid working with a hybrid structure of 3 days in the office and 2 from home. They are based in Birmigham City Centre and have some really sylish offices!

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Studying towards ACCA/CIMA or possess a strong understanding of financial statements and the general ledger.
• Experience working effectively with non-finance colleagues.
• Familiarity with the Yardi Voyager accounting system (highly desirable).
• Ability to manage a busy workload with limited supervision.
• Property experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
