Goldhawk Associates are supporting a long-established international business with the recruitment of a Finance Analyst / Accountant. This role will give you high visibility across the organisation, working closely with senior leaders, central finance, and operational teams to make a real impact.

The Role Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes and support both group and joint venture reporting. This is a varied, hands-on role offering scope for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly P&Ls, balance sheets and cashflows, including contract performance reporting and variance analysis.
Production of rolling forecasts, quarterly group submissions, and annual budgets.
Monitoring and reporting of project cash flows, identifying key movements and risks.
Balance sheet reconciliations and review of financial controls.
Preparation of Joint Venture financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Financial reviews and credit checks on partners, suppliers, and customers.
Support on ad-hoc finance projects, including cash maximisation, efficiency reviews and new system implementations.

The Candidate

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist.
Strong financial analysis, reporting, and Excel skills.
Confident communicator, able to build strong relationships across finance and commercial teams.
Commercially aware, with the ability to challenge assumptions and influence decisions.
Exposure to construction, engineering, or project-based industries desirable but not essential.
