Finance Analyst

Location: Northampton
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 DOE

The Opportunity

Peace Recruitment is working with a well-established, international manufacturing business looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join its finance team in Northampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their experience across financial reporting, commercial analysis and business performance.

You'll work closely with senior finance professionals and wider business teams, gaining valuable exposure to both financial control and commercial finance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support month-end reporting, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.

Prepare regular sales and financial performance reports.

*

Assist with budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting.

*

Analyse financial data to identify trends and support business decisions.

*

Support product costing, pricing analysis and margin reporting.

*

Assist with internal and external audits and statutory reporting.

*

Maintain accurate financial information across internal systems.

*

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial efficiency.

What We're Looking For

*

AAT qualified or equivalent, ideally working towards ACCA or CIMA.

*

Previous experience within a finance or accounting role.

*

Strong Excel skills and confidence analysing financial information.

*

Good understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting.

*

Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a proactive approach.

*

Manufacturing or FMCG experience would be advantageous.

*

Experience with ERP systems or Power BI would be beneficial.
