Finance & Billing Analyst

Are you a commercially minded finance analyst with experience of working within a top Law firm or Accountancy Practice?

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to support pricing strategies and evaluate contractual obligations to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse historical financial data and profitability metrics to support pricing decisions.
• Conduct detailed post-matter reviews to assess cost-efficiency and resource utilisation.
• Provide in-depth reports and insights to divisional pricing committees and Partners.
• Identify trends in matter performance and recommend improvements to pricing structures.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business Development to inform pricing strategy.
• Build financial models to evaluate profitability, risk, and performance scenarios.

About You
You will bring strong finance and analytical skills, a commercial mindset, and experience working with financial data, ideally within a professional services environment.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI and financial modelling
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Understanding of legal industry pricing and billing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to reporting.
